Satabdi Women's Organisation For Social WelfareIndependence Day
Satabdi Women’s Organisation For Social Welfare feels that it is our moral duty to celebrate Independence Day every year to commemorate the leadership of the greatest freedom fighters and our legendary ancestors who have sacrificed their lives to achieve independence after about 200 years. On every 15th of August, we celebrate Independence day by organizing a small program by hoisting Teranga and our educators and students taking part in some enjoyable and purposeful activities like singing, dancing, recitation, and others.
Republic Day
We observe Republic day on the 26th of January every year. We celebrate this day by spreading the message of unity and harmony, making people understand the usefulness and importance of the constitution of our country. On this day we hoist Teranga at our organization premises and organize a small program to raise awareness about the social acceptance of specially-abled children and their inclusiveness and mainstreaming in society.
Basanta Utsab
Every year on the occasion of Dol Purnima, Satabdi Women’s Organisation holds a grand celebration called Basanta Utsab to welcome the season of spring. It is the festival of colors, harmony, and happiness. Our celebration involves many preparations such as buying colors, sweets, and decorations, as well as planning social gatherings and events. On this occasion, our students, teachers, volunteers, and members gather on our organization’s premises and play with colored powders and water by applying them on each other’s faces. Our main motive for organizing this program is to create an atmosphere full of joy, love, and unity.
Teachers’ Day

Our children stay busy on this day doing something enjoyable like cutting cakes and distributing chocolates and sweets among themselves. We feel so pleased to see them involved spontaneously to make this day worth remembering and remarkable for us.
